The Gadget Show visits KEF to discover KEF MUON for a 'Money No Object' special

2017-03-22

KEF MUON, the result of KEF’s engineering prowess combined with world-class industrial design by Ross Lovegrove, took centre stage in an exclusive feature in Channel 5’s long-running consumer tech programme, The Gadget Show.

Filmed at our KEF facility here in Maidstone, Kent on the very same site that the company was first founded on in 1961, the show’s 'Money No Object' special allowed presenter, Jason Bradbury a unique insight behind the scenes and chance to enjoy 'audio heaven' with the mighty KEF MUON.

In a programme special featuring the ultimate in high-end luxury items, the show’s experts met the KEF Acoustics Team, toured the testing facilities whilst Head of Product Engineering, Barry Dock explained the design and technology inside the flagship KEF MUON loudspeakers.

When it came to the listening session, the presenter was blown away by the MUON’s playback quality, listening to Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor, Jason Bradbury noted;

‘I couldn’t just hear the organ, I could hear the church! I could hear the acoustics of the church. It was profoundly beautiful.’
