VENTURA 6

We have a pair hooked to a sonos amp (just for convenience sake) and they sound awesome! They did sound better through a class A amp but honestly when you're outside, you won't care because of how clear and "airy" they sound. Fantastic set of outdoor speakers. Had mine for over a year now and they have survived the winter no problem. Just don't drop them! But if you do - kef are willing to sell you replacement parts. Had to replace the woofer on one (tried mounting it and it fell due to my own fault). But even after a replacement woofer (and a fall) they are still going strong. If you can find them at discount (which you can) they are hard to beat! If you prefer a bit more bass - I would recommend eq'ing up your bass or opting for an outdoor sub but honestly - they are fine by themselves (and get pretty loud and retain their clarity). Highly recommend.

I have two pairs of Ventura 6s, one pair attached under a gazebo roof and another pair under a lean to providing music when a hit tub is in use. I choose to garage store the speakers during winter. They are fantastic and highly recommended! Given my source music is compressed streaming from Spotify or Radio streaming and the little amp that drives them from a waterproof enclosure is not high quality the information extracted is quite remarkable. I regularly hear things from them that I've not heard before from all sorts of indie / rock / pop punk / metal orientated music.

So mine don't have a hard weather life, they are well sheltered, but they've held up well to the outdoor life they do have. As a product they are well thought out and constructed using the right materials. Hoping they'll give many years good service!

I'm ex-hi fi industry (UK) myself, so hence my choice of the KEF brand. I gambled on them and didn't audition before purchase, and wasn't disappointed!

Have just fitted a pair of Ventura 6 to replace an older (and cheaper) pair in the garden. The difference was noticeable immediately. KEF quality is fantastic, with rich clear sounds coming through a beautiful set of speakers. I only wish I had upgraded sooner!
